  • Do you accept systematic reviews?

Yes, we do accept systematic reviews.

  • Do you accept preliminary results?

Yes, you can submit preliminary results, however, submissions with final results are likely to score higher during the peer review process.

  • For symposium submissions, do I need to submit each abstract separately, or all abstracts in one submission?

For symposium submissions, your description should include an overall symposium description, including details on each presentation and timings. This would mean one submission, with details on each presentation.

  • Will there be an opportunity to organize workshops as part of the congress?

We have decided not to pursue workshops for ISPAH Congress 2026 with our scientific call, due to a low uptake and attendance in previous years. We encourage you to consider how your workshop might instead suit a symposium submission.

  • What time do submissions close?

Submissions are accepted until 11:59 PM (midnight) on the deadline date. Our IT systems accommodate all time zones.

  • I received confirmation of my abstract submission, but it is showing as ‘pending’ on my abstract dashboard, what does this mean?

Abstracts showing as ‘Pending’ are pending feedback from the scientific committee review team. You can expect to receive the outcome of your submission in line with the timeline outlined on the Key Dates page of the Congress website.

  • Can I get a letter confirming my abstract has been accepted?

Yes, this is available on your ISPAH Congress 2026 dashboard. To access, please sign in to your Congress dashboard – view the accepted abstract – click the “Letter of Acceptance” download button.

  • How do I know if my abstract has been accepted?

To see the outcome of your abstract, please sign in to your Congress dashboard – and click “My Abstracts”. On this page you will see your submitted abstracts, alongside the status of each submission.

  • How do I change presenting author?

You can change presenting authors easily by asking the submitting author to sign in to their congress dashboard and edit the submitted abstract. There are options to change presentation authors for each submitted abstract.

  • Do we accept Purchase Orders (POs) as a form of payment?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept Purchase Orders (POs) as a form of payment. ISPAH is a not-for-profit organisation, and delegate fees are required in advance as they support and fund the running of the event. In most cases like this, delegates choose to pay the registration fee themselves and then submit it to their institution as a work-related expense for reimbursement. We hope that approach may work for you.

  • Can payments be split over two credit cards?

At present, congress registration fees need to be paid in full in a single credit card transaction, and we’re not able to split payments across multiple cards or instalments.

If you’re registering on behalf of an organization and require an invoice or have specific payment requirements, you can add their details as part of our checkout process.

  • Does ISPAH have a VAT number?

ISPAH does not currently have a VAT number. As a new UK legal entity, ISPAH does not meet the gross profit requirements for VAT registration and is therefore VAT exempt.

  • What is ISPAH’s official address?

International Society for Physical Activity and Health, 124 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX
