However, systematic surveillance of physical activity (PA) remains limited or non-existent across many African countries. Early career researchers (ECRs) and practitioners in Africa are uniquely positioned to lead innovations in PA measurement, especially within resource-constrained settings. The ISPAH Early Career Network (ECN) is hosting this AFRO-focused webinar to spotlight emerging efforts, share practical experiences, discuss innovative methodologies, and explore pathways for strengthening PA surveillance systems across the continent.
